Hotel El Marqués by Faranda Boutique

This is a beautiful boutique hotel. Located in old town and on a nice quiet street but within 3 minute walking to all the main attractions. Also within a5 minute area are some amazing restaurants. The most amazing part of this hotel is their staff. Right from arriving Ricardo at the reception, Isabella at the restaurant serving us breakfast, the lady (Eileen) at the bar and the lady who cleaned the room. We loved the warmth showed by the team. Everything was spot on including the 4 AM taxi to the airport. This is a great hotel and has lots of history and character. The hotel also has a boutique wine store that does amazing tapas and wine. We did a lunch at the Happy Wine store and it was totally worth it. We look forward to staying here the next time in Cartagena.

There was a lot to like! The historic building that houses the hotel is interesting and charming, the staff was extraordinary and very attentive, the restaurant and bar were both excellent, the hotel's location is perfect, and it was a surprisingly good value too

Our stay at Hotel El Marqués was a delight. The atmosphere is cozy and relaxing, and the staff are welcoming and truly skilled at what they do. A special thank you to Juan for his exceptional service—it was greatly appreciated.
